The present application, under Section 53 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act (hereinafter referred to as the Act), has been filed against the order, dated 24.05.2016, passed by the learned 1st Addl. Sessions Judge, East Chamapran at Motihari, in Cr. Appeal (Juvenile) No. 48 of 2016.
3. The petitioner is said to be in custody/observation home since 30.08.2015. The Principal Magistrate, Juvenile Justice Board, East Champaran at Motihari, has submitted a report as regards
Patna High Court CR. REV. No.603 of 2016 dt.31-01-2017 2/2 stage of the enquiry under Section 14 of the Act, in compliance of this Court's order dated 09.01.2017, from which it appears that few of the prosecution witnesses have been examined.
4. Considering the period during which the petitioner has remained in custody and in the observation home, it is directed that if the enquiry is not concluded within a period of four months from today, he shall be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
5. This application is, accordingly, disposed of but with the observation as above.
