The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bihta P.S. Case No. 16 of 2017, registered under Sections 30(a), 37(a(b)(c) of the Excise Act.
The accusation is that on receiving secret information about selling of illicit liquor by Vikash Kumar and this petitioner in a house situated behind the referral hospital, Bihta, the Police reached there and on seeing the Police personnel, two persons started fleeing. The petitioner was apprehended, who also disclosed the name of his associate as Vikash Kumar and on his instruction 35 bottles, each containing 750 ML India made foreign liquor recovered from the roof of the house.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11952 of 2017 (3) dt.19-04-2017 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent is in custody since 18.01.2017.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the ACJM, Danapur, Patna in connection with Bihta P.S. Case No. 16 of 2017.
