The petitioner, who is in custody since 08.08.2020, seeks bail in connection with Special Case No. 4678 of 2020 arising out of Fatuhan P.S. Case No. 551 of 2020, dated 07.08.2020, instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37052 of 2020(2) dt.03-02-2021 2/2 64 litres of locally brewed Mahuwa liquor is said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner, which is denied by him.

Considering the nature of accusation and the period of custody of the petitioner and also taking into account his clean antecedents, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna in connection with Special Case No. 4678 of 2020 arising out of Fatuhan P.S. Case No. 551 of 2020.
