2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 379, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. This is the third bail application on behalf of the petitioner. Firstly, the petitioner moved before this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 59100 of 2021 which stood dismissed vide order dated 09.05.2022. Lastly, prayer for grant of bail to petitioner was rejected vide order dated 05.04.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 65039 of 2022.

4. From perusal of the trial court report dated 30.08.2024 it transpires that six prosecution witnesses have already been examined and cross-examined. The official

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41975 of 2024(3) dt.29-11-2024 2/2 witnesses i.e. the I.O. and Doctor are yet to be examined.

5. Considering the nature of accusation, gravity of offence and progress of trial, the prayer for grant bail of to the petitioner is rejected.

6. However, considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 06.02.2021, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
