JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 16-05-2018 Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner, already in custody since 30.5.2017, seeks bail in Begusarai Muffasil PS Case No. 226 of 2017 registered under Sections 394, 302 of the IPC and Section 27 of the Arms Act. The allegation in brief is that five - six miscreants in an attempt to loot the patrol pump one of the employee was shot dead.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that except confessional statement of the petitioner given before the police, there is no other material against him besides some criminal antecedents, the petitioner was not put on TIP, charge-sheet has been submitted and he has been in custody for approximately one year. Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances as also the period of custody, the petitioner, namely, Rajan Das is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of ACJM IV Begusarai in connection with Begusarai Muffasil PS Case No.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7185 of 2018 (5) dt.16-05-2018 (ii) The petitioner shall appear before the trial court on each date and in case of failure to appear on two consecutive dates except because of reasonable cause his bail bonds shall be liable to be cancelled.
