The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 1555 C of 2011, in which, cognizance has been taken against the petitioner under Section-498A of the Indian Penal Code.

The complainant claims that the petitioner is her husband and her marriage was solemnized with the petitioner 15 years ago but submission on behalf of the petitioner is that the complainant is not legally wedded wife of the petitioner and as a matter of fact, the husband of the complainant is one, Gainu Thakur against whom, the complainant had filed Complaint Case No. 1072 of 1996. It is further contended on behalf of the petitioner that the complainant is a lady of questionable character and she is in habit of filing false cases against innocent persons with ulterior motive.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.243 of 2015 (2) dt.07-01-2015 2/2 Taking into consideration the above-said facts and circumstances as well as submission of the parties, this anticipatory bail petition is allowed and it is ordered that in the event of arrest or surrender in the court below within four weeks from today, the petitioner, named-above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Complaint Case No. 1555 C of 2011 to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria.
