The petitioner seeks bail in Rajepur P.S. Case No. 67 of 2014 under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. The name of the petitioner figured in the case in the confessional statement of co-accused. The petitioner is not the holder of the mobile bearing No. 9771096823 by which extortion was demanded. Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected on the ground that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent. The petitioner is in jail since 22.7.2016.

Considering the aforesaid fact and the fact that save and except the petitioner has got criminal antecedent and the name
