This is an application for bail in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 16 of 2016, arising out of Udwant Nagar P.S.Case No. 295 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b)(ii) (c) and 22(c) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is a lady and there is nothing to do with the alleged recovery of ganja from five persons, including the petitioner and she is in custody since 4.8.2016.

Heard learned APP also, who has opposed the prayer for bail stating that huge quantity of ganja has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and other accused persons.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10152 of 2017 (2) dt.03-03-2017 2/2 Having heard both sides and considering the fact that huge quantity of ganja has been recovered, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

However, learned trial court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial as early as possible.

Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
