Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 385, 367, 368, 371, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the SC & ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

It is alleged against the petitioner that petitioner being working as agent for preparation of the beneficiaries' list of Indira Awas Scheme demanded rupees 1020 thousands and on non-payment of the same the benefits were not conferred to the informant.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that there is nothing on record to suggest that name of the informant was not included in the beneficiaries list due to non-payment of the alleged demand of illegal gratification.

Considering the accusation based on the documentary proofs and the petitioner having no criminal antecedent, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of 12 weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Sherghatti, Gaya in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 550 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. (Dinesh Kumar Singh, J) Shageer/- U T
