2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Chousa P.S. Case No. 142 of 2024 registered for offences under Section(s) 147, 148, 149, 188, 353, 323, 307, 333, 435, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner, along with other co-accused persons, is alleged to have blocked the road and set fire to a Hiva truck. It is further alleged that they voluntarily caused grievous hurt to deter police and fire brigade personnel from performing their official duties and they assaulted the personnel, used criminal force, and attempted to commit murder.

4. Considering the seriousness of the allegation levelled against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in the present case.

5. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is hereby dismissed.

6. However, the petitioner is at liberty to surrender before the concerned Court below within two weeks from today and pray for regular bail, if so advised.

7. It is, however, clarified that the observations made herein are limited to the adjudication of the present application and shall not prejudice the case of the petitioner at any subsequent stage of the proceedings.
