The petitioner seeks bail in Sitamarhi P.S. Case No. 19/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code.

The police intercepted the petitioner along with two persons who were coming on a motorcycle. The petitioner was driving the motorcycle. On search, from the possession of one of the accused namely, Dabloo Raut @ Dabla some ornaments was recovered.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the motorcycle is not stolen one and no stolen article was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in jail since 09.01.2017.

No.12158 of 2017 (2) dt.22-03-2017 Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that petitioner has already remained in jail for two and half months, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi in connection with Sitamarhi P.S. Case No. 19/2017.
