The petitioner seeks bail in Pranpur (Rosana) P.S. Case No. 74 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Sections 272 and 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47(a), 54, 57 of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 29.9.2016 but a liberty was given to the petitioner that if the trial is not concluded within five months, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail and submission on behalf of the petitioner is that trial of the petitioner is still pending.
