JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 06-07-2026 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State. The I.O. of the case has appeared along with the Case Diary and Post-Mortem Report.
2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Beur P.S. Case No. 212 of 2026 registered for the offence under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 190, 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. As per the prosecution case, one Rampravesh and others are alleged to have assaulted the victim, resulting in the victim's death.
4. During the investigation, Rampravesh has named the petitioner as one of the assailants of the deceased. The postmortem report supports the prosecution case. The petitioner is in
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39699 of 2026(3) dt.06-07-2026 2/2 custody since 18.04.2026 and has one criminal antecedent.
5. Considering the nature and the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.
6. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands dismissed. If the trial is delayed, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
7. It is made clear that any observation made herein is prima facie in nature and limited solely for the purpose of adjudication of the present bail application. Such observations shall not be construed as an expression on the merits of the case and shall not influence the trial or any other proceedings in any manner.
