The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sasaram (Muffasil) P.S. Case No.1162/16 registered under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 12 of POCSO Act. The accusation is of committing rape by the petitioner on the maternal daughter of the informant aged about 7 years. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has falsely been implicated in this case and is in custody since 17.10.2016.

Having considered the nature of offence and the allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to
