Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 47(a), 53 (c ), 54 of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act.

Petitioner and co- accused Nageshwar Paswan were caught and 65 liters Tari and 22 bottles each containing 200 ml. country made liquor were recovered from the bush but submission on behalf of the petitioner is that co-accused Nageshwar Paswan has already been granted privilege of bail whereas petitioner is in jail custody since 20.5.2016.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, East
