1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this is an application for issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ/order or direction for quashing the order as contained in memo No. DHS/2902 dated 31.03.2023 issued under joint signature of Civil
Patna High Court CWJC No.10874 of 2023(2) dt.19-02-2024 2/2 Surgeon-cum-Member Secretary, District Health Society, East Champaran at Motihari and District Programme Manager, District Health Society, East Champaran, Motihari, whereby and whereunder the engagement of the petitioners against the post of Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (hereinafter referred to as 'ANM') has been stopped with immediate effect on the ground of the letter issued by Bihar govt i'e letter No.7922 dated 31.03.2023 in which the extension of the time period of service of ANM has not been done and petitioners further pray for issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus directing and commanding the respondent authorities to regularize the petitioners against the post of ANM and allow them to work as ANM on regular basis or alternatively on contract basis with equal pay for equal work with all consequential benefits attached to the post."
2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the respondentauthorities for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
