2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 610 of 2022 registered on 14.07.2022 lodged under Sections 304B of the I.P.C.

3. As per the prosecution case, F.I.R. has been lodged against sole petitioner against whom there is an allegation that petitioner has assaulted his wife and killed her.

4. Counsel further submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He further submits that petitioner is in custody since 15.07.2022 having no criminal case pending against him.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that specific allegation is upon the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41950 of 2023(6) dt.07-03-2024 2/2 petitioner himself.

6. In the present facts and circumstances of this case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his bail application is hereby rejected at present.

7. Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within nine months from today.
