The petitioner being the husband of the complainant is languishing in custody since 24.06.2016 in a complaint case in which processes have been directed to be issued after cognizance being taken for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code. The basic accusation is of torture for nonfulfillment of dowry demand. Though, the complaint was filed with accusation under Sections 323, 504, 506, 498A, 406 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that initially the petitioner performed love marriage with the complainant and subsequently gave talak

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34124 of 2016 (3) dt.20-10-2016 to her, thereafter the present complaint case has been filed. Considering the nature of accusation, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sri Naresh Mahto, J.M., Ist Class, Lakhisarai in connection with Complaint Case No. 163C of 2014.
