Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 307, 379, 384, 354, 376, 511 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Petitioner is husband of the victim of demand of dowry and torture for the same. After investigation, the police had not sent up the petitioner for trial. However, the learned Magistrate disagreed with the report and took cognizance. Considering the nature of allegation and completion of investigation of the case against the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42983 of 2019(2) dt.11-07-2019 2/2 bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Complaint Case No. 550(C) of 2011 arising out of Simultala Police Station Case No. 39 of 2010, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
