JUSTICE RAJENDRA KUMAR MISHRA ORAL ORDER 16-03-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner is accused in connection with Bakhari P.S. Case No. 256 of 2016, registered under Sections 420, 489(A), 489(B), 489(C), 489(D) and 489(E) of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is that petitioner approached the U.C.O. Bank, Begusarai to deposit Rs.1,06,000/-, out of which, 98 currency notes indenomination of Rs.500/- amounting to Rs.49,000/- were found counterfeit.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in fact, petitioner is the business man, who had gone to deposit the cash of Rs.1,06,000/-, which was collected by him in course of business and the petitioner had no knowledge about 98 counterfeit notes.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the A.C.J.M.-V, Begusarai, in connection with Bakhari P.S. Case No. 256 of 2016. Out of two sureties, one surety must be the close relative of the petitioner.
