The petitioner is in custody since 14.10.2016 in connection with Chakia P.S.Case No.246 of 2015 registered for an offence under Sections 302, 201 and 120(B) of the IPC. The informant in his written report has alleged that his son got missing. The informant made hectic search and learnt that Ankita Kumari and Renu Kumari had also gone to search the son of the informant at Chhath Ghat. Thereafter, the informant went to the house of Ankita Kumari and noticed some suspicious activities among her family members who seeing the informant started abusing and told him that that they had killed his son The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been made accused merely on suspicion as he is the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11820 of 2017 (2) dt.18-03-2017 uncle of Ankita Kumari. The father of Ankita Kumari, namely, Harendra Sahni has been allowed bail by the coordinate Bench of this Court on 20.02.2017 vide Cr.Misc.No.2211 of 2017. The case of this petitioner stands on better footing The learned APP opposed the submissions.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of CJM, Motihari, East Champaran in Chakia P.S.Case No.246 of 2015.
