Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20,23,25 and 29 of the N.D.P.S.Act.

Huge quantity of Ganja was recovered from the truck of which the petitioners were driver and cleaner. They are in custody since 01.09.2017.

The report of the learned Trial Judge reveals that prosecution evidence is going on during course of trial. Learned counsel appearing for the Narcotic Control Bureau submits that he will take all possible steps to

The learned Trial Judge is directed to not allow any long adjournment in this case and if practicable proceed with the case on day to day basis. If the trial would not be concluded within the aforesaid period due to laches on the part of the prosecution, necessary order would be passed in the matter.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is disposed of.
