Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Marhowarah P.S. Case No. 531 of 2019 registered for offences under Sections 498(A) and 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner and opposite party no.2 have settled their dispute.

Considering the submission of the petitioner,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37303 of 2020(4) dt.25-01-2022 2/2 petitioner is directed to surrender in the court below within ten weeks from today and if the court court finds that there has been compromise between the parties, the court below shall release the petitioner on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra in connection with Marhowarah P.S. Case No.531 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.

If the court below finds that there is no compromise between the parties, bail bond of the petitioner shall stand automatically cancelled.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, this application is allowed.
