The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special Case No. 4601 of 2020 arising out of Digha P.S. Case No. 405 of 2020, dated 30.07.2020, instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It appears that on a secret information, the house of the petitioner was raided but the recovery of 28.950 litres of liquor is said to have been effected from behind the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36514 of 2020(2) dt.01-02-2021 2/2 backyards of the house of the petitioner.

Regard being had to the nature of accusation and the period of custody of the petitioner which is from 31.07.2020, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna in connection with Special Case No. 4601 of 2020, arising out of Digha P.S. Case No. 405 of 2020.
