The petitioner seeks bail in Harlakhi P.S. Case No. 115 of 2021, registered for the offence under Sections 313, 376, 420, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 3 / 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and Section 4 / 6 of POCSO Act. As per the prosecution case, this petitioner is alleged to have abused the father of the informant and demanded Rs. Five lacs, as dowry, for arranging the marriage and thereafter, ousted the informant from his house.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that thrust of allegation of sexual abuse is against son of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 11.07.2021.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.
