The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Majhaulia P.S. Case No. 701 of 2020 pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, Excise, West Champaran at Bettiah in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a), 32 and 41(1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is a case of recovery of about 110 liters of illicit liquor from the hut of the petitioners.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners have falsely been implicated in this case. He

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49192 of 2021(2) dt.30-03-2022 2/2 further submits that the petitioners have got clean antecedent. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

In view of the fact that the said liquor was recovered from the hut of the petitioners, as such, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
