20-08-2016 Heard Sri Ajay Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Smt. Indu Kumari Srivastava, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor.

The sole petitioner, who is in custody since 18-05-2016 in Ghorasahan (Jharokhar O.P) P.S. Case No. 140 of 2016 registered for offence under Sections 47, 54 and 57 of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016, has prayed for grant of bail. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on false accusation of recovery of about three litres of Nepali wine, the petitioner has been arrested.

Keeping in view the nature of accusation and period of custody, let the petitioner namely Ram Ekwal Mahto be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the
