The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kadirganj P.S. Case No. 83 of 2017, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302 and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The allegation is regarding the accused persons including the petitioner herein having killed the daughter of the informant and had, thereafter, hid the dead body. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an old lady and grandmother of the deceased, hence, it is not probable that she would have committed murder of her own grand-daughter. It is further submitted that if at all, the grand-daughter was killed, the other accused
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22806 of 2018(4) dt.29-06-2018 2/2 persons might be responsible, however, the petitioner has got nothing to do with the alleged crime. The petitioner is having a clean antecedent and she is languishing in custody since 05.10.2017.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to enlarge the petitioner on regular bail.
Accordingly, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge 1st, Patna in connection with Kadirganj P.S.
