====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANJANI KUMAR SHARAN ORAL ORDER 02-03-2021 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Harsidhi P.S. Case No. 301 of 2020 registered for the offence punishable under Section 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The daughter of the informant is said to have been killed by the petitioner and family member due to nonfulfillment of dowry. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. He further submits that the petitioner is in jail custody since 09.09.2020.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37395 of 2020(3) dt.02-03-2021 2/2 Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the bail petition. Since the petitioner is the husband of the deceased, I am not inclined to enlarge the above named petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the above named petitioner in connection with Harsidhi P.S. Case No.301 of 2020 pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari is hereby rejected at present.
