JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 23-09-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 325, 307, 327, 337 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is that due to nonpayment of extortion money by informant to the petitioner, informant and other members of his family were assaulted by the petitioner and other accused persons.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is in custody since 9.5.2016. Chargesheet has been submitted against the petitioner. No allegation of tampering of witnesses is alleged against the petitioner. Petitioner is said to have caused injury on the head of the brother of the informant. The injury is said to be simple in nature. It is a case and counter case between the parties. On behalf of the State, it is submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the
