The petitioner is accused in connection with Kumarkhand P.S. Case No. 178 of 2016, registered under Sections 363 and 366/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation of informant, namely, Sheela Devi is that her married daughter, aged about 22 years, along with Nisha Devi and Ranjan Devi had gone to see fair, but the daughter of the informant did not return home. Thereafter, informant made query from Nisha Devi and Ranjan Devi, but they did not give satisfactory answer to her. Then informant raised suspicion about kidnapping of his daughter by Vikash Kumar and others in connivance with Nisha Devi and Ranjan Devi.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6987 of 2017 (2) dt.08-03-2017 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in course of investigation, the Police got recorded the confessional statement of co-accused Nisha Devi, who disclosed that she had talked with this petitioner for knowing whereabout of the victim, except that there is nothing against the petitioner to show his involvement in the present case. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent is in custody since 31.10.2016.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the SDJM, Madhepura in connection with Kumarkhand P.S. Case No. 178 of 2016.
