The petitioner is accused in connection with Atri P.S. Case No. 256 of 2016, registered under Sections 354, 341, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and 8/12 of POCSO Act. The accusation is of outrage the modesty of the informant by the petitioner by touching her private part, on protest, she was also abused by the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner and informant is co-villager and due to misunderstanding the present case has been lodged. Further submission is that informant and her family members have also filed a compromise petition in the Court of Addl. Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge POCSO Act. Moreover, the petitioner
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8220 of 2017 (2) dt.10-03-2017 2/2 having no criminal antecedent is in custody since 13.12.2016. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl. Sessions Judge-I-cum-Special Judge (POCSO Act), Gaya in connection with Atri P.S. Case No. 256 of 2016.
