The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 413, 414, 420 of the Indian Penal Code and 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Allegedly, 7.8 litres of cough syrup is recovered from possession of the petitioner.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 16-03-2019. Charge sheet has already been submitted. It is alleged that 7.8 litres of cough syrup is recovered from possession of the petitioner. There is no compliance of Section 100 of Cr.P.C. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-Iind-cum-Special Judge, Araria, in connection with Special Case No. 375 of 2019 arising out of Narpatganj P.S. Case No. 160 of 2019.
