This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offences under Sections 30(a) and 38(i) of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016.
According to first information report, from beneath the seat on which the petitioners were traveling liquor was recovered. The same was suspected to be of the petitioners.
The petitioners are in custody since19.12.2016. The petitioners have stated that the same does not belong to them and they had no knowledge of the same. They have got no criminal antecedent. Considering the aforesaid fact, the petitioners, above named, are directed to be released on bail, after completion of four months in custody, on furnishing bail
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9101 of 2017 (2) dt.06-03-2017 2/2 bonds of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Kiul/GRP P.S. Case No. 240 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kiul, Lakhisarai, or successor Court.
