The petitioner seeks bail in Patahi P.S. Case No. 14 of 2018 registered under Section 304-B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is said to have committed dowry death of the informant's daughter in association of his family members by sprinkling kerosene oil and setting ablaze her. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner happens to be father-in-law of the deceased. He has no concern with the aforesaid occurrence. He has not made any demand of dowry. The I.O. has not found any kerosene oil or

The allegation levelled against the petitioner is not specific rather general and omnibus in nature. The petitioner does not happen to be beneficiary of the dowry rather the beneficiary of the dowry is the husband who has not been made accused in the F.I.R. rather was implicated in the case during course of investigation. The petitioner has been languishing in custody since 25.01.2018. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 8thAdditional Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Patahi P.S.
