24-05-2017 The Court is informed that petitioner has already been dismissed from service after holding of a departmental inquiry, as a measure of punishment. So long as the order of dismissal stands, there is no question of giving any direction for payment of post retiral dues etc. even though he may have been acquitted in a criminal case. In view of the above, this writ application is dismissed.

The question of limitation, if any raised, will be considered on its own merit. This order in no way is an indication of condonation of the time taken when the order of dismissal was passed when the petitioner would like to challenge it.
