Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned APP for the State and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of Department of Mines.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that initially when the case was instituted, it was instituted for offences which carries punishment of seven years and less, but police during the course of investigation added Section 111 BNS, on which learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Department of Mines submits that Section 111 BNS relates to organized crime and petitioner has criminal antecedent of four cases.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38092 of 2025(4) dt.25-09-2025 2/2 petitioner, after arguing vehemently for some time realising his difficulty, seeks permission to withdraw the anticipatory bail application.
