The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the glamour motorcycle of the informant which was parked at the place of occurrence was found missing.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the FIR was registered against unknown. The name of the petitioner transpired in course of investigation in the confessional statement of co-accused Bipin Kumar made before police. Contrary to the allegations levelled in the FIR, no recovery has taken place on the confessional statement of this petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 13.6.2021 and has

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case, the petitioner not having any criminal antecedent and having remained in custody for more than 9 months, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Pipra P.S. Case no. 165 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate VI, Supaul.
