JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 27-09-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner happens to be husband of the deceased who is allegedly, done to death by the petitioner and other accused within seven years of marriage due to non-fulfillment of dowry demand. The aforesaid fact appears to have been supported by the witnesses in course of investigation and, therefore, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail and accordingly, his prayer for bail in connection with Mahesh Khut P.S. Case No. 21 of 2016 corresponding to Sessions Trial No. 164 of 2016 pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, Khagaria stands rejected. However, learned Sessions Court should expedite the trial of the petitioner and try to conclude the same as early as possible.
