The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147/452/386/427of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that the FIR named accused persons variously armed with came at the shop of the informant, assaulted the informant, demanded extortion, took away cash of Rs. 65,000/- and threatened.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that in a petty dispute the accusation has been levelled. Moreover, the informant has retracted from initial version and has filed a petition to that effect before the learned court below, the same has been brought on record as annexure-3 to the petition. Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17581 of 2015 (2) dt.18-05-2015 2/2 counsel for the petitioner further submits that non-grant of bail to the petitioner will jeoparadize his academic career. A statement has been made in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

The aforesaid facts constitute good ground for consideration of prayer for regular bail.

Let the learned Court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner, if the petitioner surrenders within a period of six weeks in connection with Simri P.S. Case No.177 of 2014, pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar.

With the above observation, this application is, accordingly, disposed off.
