The petitioners, who are in custody, seek bail in connection with Barauni P.S. case No. 429 of 2016 instituted under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30 of the Bihar Prohibition of Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation, in brief, against the petitioners is that 130 and 85 pouches respectively of country made liquor were recovered from these petitioners.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are ladies and have also got no criminal antecedent. Considering the aforementioned facts and circumstances, the petitioners, named above are directed to be

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6143 of 2017 (2) dt.08-02-2017 2/2 released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Barauni P.S. case No. 429 of 2016.
