That this application is being filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari or any other appropriate writ or writs for quashing the decision with regard to the petitioner, whose name is appearing against serial no.7 in memo no.644 dated 26.12.2015, passed by the District Compassionate Appointment Committee, West Champaran, Bettiah, consisting with its 8 members headed by the respondent no.3 on the account of delay in filing application for

Patna High Court CWJC No.15553 of 2021(2) dt.18-01-2024 2/2 compassionate appointment.

And For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or writs directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground on suitable post as per his qualification."

Though it is the stand of the respondent-State that certain documents are required to be furnished by the petitioner for the purposes of grant of appointment on compassionate ground to the petitioner, however, the learned counsel for the petitioner has fairly submitted that now, all the documents have already been furnished and the case of the petitioner is being actively considered by the District Compassionate Appointment Committee, West Champaran at Bettiah, hence, it be directed to take a final decision, within a stipulated time frame, preferably within a period of four weeks from today. It is directed accordingly.

The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
