The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Hasanpur P.S. Case No. 116 of 2017, for the offences punishable under Sections 224, 307, 323, 34, 341, 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

The case of the prosecution is that when the informant was coming alongwith his younger daughter on a motorcycle and Pappu Yadav was driving the motorcycle, all the accused persons alongwith the petitioner herein surrounded him and started assaulting him with fists and slaps. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is general and omnibus allegation against all the accused persons and no specific overt act has been alleged as far as the petitioner is

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20154 of 2018 (3) dt.17-05-2018 2/2 concerned. It is further submitted that the petitioner is languishing in jail since 06.12.2017 and has a clean antecedent. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, 3rd, Rosera at Samastipur in connection with Hasanpur P.S. Case No. 116 of 2017.
