Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections-376/511 of the Indian Penal Code.
Petitioner and co-accused are said to have caught hold the informant with intent to commit rape upon her but submission on behalf of petitioner is that even if, prosecution story assumed to be true, then also, only a case u/S 354 of the Indian Penal Code is made out and, moreover, petitioner is in jail custody since 20-02-2016 without having any criminal antecedent. Considering the period of detention of the petitioner in jail custody as well as submission of the parties, let the petitioner named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.31577 of 2016 (2) dt.16-08-2016 2/2 bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Aurai P.S. Case No. 26 of 2016 to the satisfaction of Sri Sunil Kumar Tripathi, learned Judicial Magistrate-Ist Class, Muzaffarpur.
