====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRAVEEN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 17-06-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Begusarai Town P.S. Case No. 116 of 2026 dated 05.03.2026 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 109, 303(2), 3(5) of B.N.S.

3. As per the prosecution case, petitioner and five other named co-accused persons assaulted the informant by means of lathi, danda and iron rod, as a result of which, he sustained serious injuries. It has further been alleged that coaccused person took away Rs. 2500/- from the pocket of the informant. It has further been alleged that with the intervention of the neighbors, the informant was taken to the hospital.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39202 of 2026(2) dt.17-06-2026 2/2 that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. It has further been submitted that there is a case and counter case between the parties. It has been submitted that the injury report of the informant does not support the allegation that six persons took part in the assault. It has further been submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. It has lastly been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 29.04.2026.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

6. Heard the parties and perused the records.

7. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner above-named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai, in connection with Begusarai Town P.S. Case No.116 of 2026.

8. The application stands allowed.
