The petitioner, who is in custody since 04-07-2016 in C2A - 129 of 2016 for the offence under Sections 47(a), (d), 51 and 52(a) (b) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016, has prayed for grant of bail.
It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has falsely been implicated on an allegation of recovery of huge quantity of foreign liquor from the Mango orchard of the petitioner. He submits that it is out-and-out false case. Further, it has been argued that petitioner is in custody since

Learned Addl. Public Prosecutor has opposed the prayer for bail.
However, keeping in view the nature of accusation and period of custody, let the petitioner namely Lalan Singh be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with C2A - 129 of 2016.
