The Petitioner seeks bail in Chapra Rail P.S. Case No. 74 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is in custody since 24.12.2016 and he has no criminal antecedent.

As per written report, total 17 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Keeping in view the clean antecedent and the period spent by the petitioner in the custody, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the Petitioner, above

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.13087 of 2017 (2) dt.20-04-2017 2/2 named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (Railway), Sonepur, Saran in connection with Chapra Rail P.S. Case No. 74 of 2016, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
