Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under sections 272, 273, 414 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 47, 50, 51 of the Excise Act.

Petitioner and three others were caught by the police while they were carrying Tari on four separate TVS vehicles. It is alleged that 80 liter Tari was recovered from the possession of the petitioner for which the petitioner is in jail custody since 21.6.2016. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as the period of detention of the petitioner in jail custody, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur in Ahiyapur P.S. Case no. 442/2016.
