Petitioner seeks bail in Beldour P.S. Case No.234 of 2020, registered under Section 30(G) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The petitioner was apprehended with a motorcycle and from the packet kept in the motorcycle, 275.5 litres of cough syrup was recovered. Petitioner is in jail since 26.08.2020. Petitioner has remained in jail for about five months.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegations made against the petitioner, petitioner, namely, Karan Kumar @ Ujjwal Kumar is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge, 2nd-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Khagaria in connection with Beldour P.S.
