JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 10-01-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "(A) To Issue writ/order/direction in the nature of mandamus and other appropriate writs for striking down the Survey/Mapping appended with the Advertisement for the Appointment of Aaganwadi Sevika (Annexure P-2) which is incorrect and erroneous and directing the Respondents Authorities to ensure strict compliance compliance of the rule

Patna High Court CWJC No.15487 of 2021(2) dt.10-01-2024 2/3 enumerated in Rule (Sanchika) No.

ICDS/30010/01-2011/3201 Dated 07-082015 and ICDS/30010/01-2011/6989 dated 19.12.2013 as per guidelines-2011 clause4 sub-clause (4.10) of Aaganwadi Sevika Appointment Guideline on the basis of true Survey/ Mapping which has been issued by BLO and appoint the petitioner for the post of Anganwadi Sevika.

(B) To issue appropriate directions/writs/orders for striking down the Appointment done on the basis of the Mapping/Survey appended with the Advertisement Issued from the office of Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Hanuman Nagar, Darbhanga (ICDS).

(C) To issue appropriate direction/writs/orders for the appointment of eligible candidate, Bhagmati Devi (Petitioner) based on the merit list from the candidate from Extremely Backward class, as ward 16 of Hanuman Nagar, Darbhanga has highest population of Extremely Backward Class."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.15487 of 2021(2) dt.10-01-2024 3/3 petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
